Lala Lock is a Pakistani manufacturer of handmade locks, operated by LALA LOCK SMC (Private) Limited. We make every lock ourselves, for homes, shops, shutters, cupboards, warehouses and offices, and we supply bulk orders directly from our workshop to customers in Pakistan and around the world.

OUR STORY

Lala Lock is a family name with a long history. Our founder, the late Syed Abdul Hameed, son of Aziz (Aziz Khilonay Wala), was known to everyone simply as “Lala”. The brand carries the name he was known by.

His work began in Hyderabad, Sindh. The family later moved from Hyderabad to Karachi, and in 1985 he started the Lala Lock business there. It has run without a break ever since, which makes Lala Lock a brand with more than forty years behind it.

The locks are made at the factory in Sialkot, which belonged to his friend, the late Malik Muneer. Today two families carry the work forward together. All of our locks are made in Sialkot, where the children of Malik Muneer run the factory. All orders and customer dealings are handled from Karachi by the children of Lala. The belief is the one it started with: make the lock by hand, cut the key by hand, and stand behind every piece for life.

OUR CRAFT

A Lala Lock is shaped, fitted and finished by hand. You can see the work in the details: the shaped shackle, the engraved face, the weight of the body in your palm. We would rather make a lock that lasts than one that merely looks the part.

Keys that never crossOur locks use a large key-combination system (120+ combinations on our rod-lock range), so a neighbour's key will not open your lock.
Solid materialsHardened steel rods, brass bodies and multi-plate / multi-lever mechanisms, depending on the model.
Hand-cut keysOur keys are cut by hand, not by machine, so keys are far less likely to match another lock. The higher the lock's security level, the later any two keys could match.

Worldwide shippingWe ship to any country. We have sent orders to the USA (including remote areas), Germany and Canada. Bulk and international buyers can contact us directly; we supply directly and do not appoint distributors.

THE COLLECTION

The range includes King Lala handmade box locks (2 to 4 plates, with 2 to 4 keys), brass padlocks and cylinder padlocks, rod locks, long-shackle locks, scissor locks and cover locks, in several sizes. Every product page lists its photos, size options and what is included with the lock.
